Choosing the right stabilizer starts with understanding your load and your supply. Use this checklist before requesting a quotation.

1. Calculate the load

List all equipment to be protected with its rating in kW or kVA. Convert kW to kVA using the power factor (kVA = kW ÷ PF). Add 20–30% margin for motor starting and future expansion.

2. Record your input voltage range

Measure the lowest and highest supply voltage over a few days. This determines the input window the stabilizer must correct.

3. Single or three phase — balanced or unbalanced?

If single phase loads are unevenly spread across phases, choose an unbalanced (independent phase) three phase stabilizer.

4. Air or oil cooling

Air cooled for moderate ratings and clean environments; oil cooled for high ratings, continuous duty and dusty or hot sites.

5. Protections and bypass

Confirm over/under voltage cut-off, single-phasing, overload and short-circuit protection, plus a manual bypass switch.
